Locum Tenens OB/GYN Hospitalist A critical access hospital is seeking OB/GYN physicians for locum tenens call coverage in a collaborative practice environment. 150 an hour orientation $300 an hour regular hours 24-hour call 2800 two clear 4-Hour gratis Call back 325 an hour after gratis hours Holiday 1.5 x regular rates Position Details Specialty: OB/GYN Practice Setting: Critical Access Hospital and Clinic Coverage Type: Locum Tenens Duration: 9 12 months FTE: 1.0 Schedule 24-hour call shifts: 7:00 AM 7:00 AM Response time: 20 minutes (via phone) Coverage needs: 6 8 call shifts per month Multiple part-time locums accepted Clinical Responsibilities Provide OB and GYN call coverage through L&D unit and ED Perform C-sections and manage ectopic cases Handle routine and complicated deliveries Manage low-risk and high-risk pregnancies Perform FHR interpretation Repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations Provide GYN ER coverage including D&Cs and emergent procedures Assist and supervise as needed Patient Volume Clinic: 18 patients per day Average callback hours: Weekday: 8.2 hours Weekend: 9.4 hours Practice Environment 25-bed critical access hospital 3 L&D beds and 4 postpartum beds Level I nursery No other OB/GYN on-site during call Support staff includes: CNMs and Family Practice OBs L&D RNs (2 3 per shift) Clinic MA or LPN In-house anesthesia and OR staff (30-minute response time) Cases / Scope OB: Low-risk and high-risk pregnancies, VBACs L&D: Routine and complicated deliveries, C-sections GYN: Emergency procedures and surgeries High-risk patients transferred when needed EMR: Epic Credentialing Estimated timeframe: 3 months Strict credentialing deadlines apply prior to start date Travel Preferred hotels or Airbnb (subject to approval) Local providers preferred Requirements Board Certified highly preferred (Truly BE accepted) Washington license highly preferred or IMLC with LOQ BLS, ACLS, DEA required Clean malpractice/background highly preferred Must provide availability at time of name clear Self-Query NPDB (within 30 days) required at presentation About WhiteCoat Locums: - Physician owned and led agency - Highest-Pay rates on the market - $1m/3m malpractice insurance and tail - 100% transparency
