ASAP - ongoing
Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible cardiothoracic surgeon
7-10 day 24-hour call stretches to cover vacations and holidays
Must include 2 years of case logs with presentation
Responsibilities include:
- Surgical cases
- Inpatient consults
- CVICU rounding on post-operative patients
No outpatient clinic responsibilities
Typical daily schedule:
- Cases start around 7:00-7:30am
- Day typically ends around 5:00pm depending on case load and acuity
Weekend coverage:
- APP and physician round together in the mornings
- Typically lighter surgical volume unless urgent cases arise
