Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage all aspects of international and domestic freight operations, including air, ocean, and ground transportation.
Coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and compliant shipments.
Monitor freight costs, negotiate rates, and manage vendor relationships to optimize efficiency and profitability.
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
Develop and implement operational processes and standard operating procedures to streamline workflows.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of logistics coordinators and operations staff.
Analyze performance metrics, identify operational issues, and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with sales, customer service, and finance teams to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations, including international shipments.
Strong knowledge of customs regulations, import/export compliance, and global transportation methods.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
Proficient in freight management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
