Position:

• Modality: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Emergency Medicine
  • Location: Hot Springs, Arkansas
  • Setting: Emergency Department
  • Scope: Broad Emergency Medicine coverage appropriate for a critical access environment
  • Procedures: Full EM skill set required (per supervising physician scope)
  • Supervision: Supervising physician assigned
  • Documentation: Case logs required
  • Notes: Provider must be comfortable practicing autonomously in a lower resource ED setting

Requirements (Must Be in Hand at Presentation):

• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
  • Active Arkansas NP or PA license
  • Active Arkansas DEA with prescriptive authority (DEA/CDS required)
  • Board Certification required:
  NP: ANCC or AANP
  PA: NCCPA
  • Prior Emergency Medicine experience required
  • Required Certifications:
  ACLS
  ATLS
  PALS
  • Case logs from the past 2 years
  • CME documentation from the past 2 years
  • Clean malpractice and license history
