Summary:
Define and execute the Supply Chain Management strategy for United States, ensuring alignment with overall corporate and business strategies, and delivering operational excellence across planning, logistics, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Strategy & Operations
Define and execute the regional SCM strategy in alignment with corporate and business objectives.
Lead Supply Planning and Inventory Management to ensure optimal service levels and working capital efficiency.
Own end-to-end Third-Party Logistics (3PL) management, including sourcing, tendering, negotiation, contracting, and ongoing cost and performance optimization.
Lead SCM budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting.
Monitor SCM-related KPIs and drive continuous improvement on cost, service, and efficiency.
Process, Systems & Standards
Monitor, standardize, and continuously improve SCM practices, standards, and systems to meet customer, regulatory, and business requirements.
Drive adoption of best practices and modern ways of working across the supply chain.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with commercial, finance, operations, quality, and other functional leaders to deliver integrated business solutions.
Participate in cross-functional and regional/global projects as required.
Business Development
Actively support business development initiatives, including supply chain input for growth projects, expansion activities, and M&A integration.
Leadership & People Responsibilities
Lead by example, building and sustaining a high-performing Supply Chain team focused on operational excellence.
Coach, guide, and support team members to achieve objectives, remove obstacles, and drive continuous improvement.
Drive capability development and learning across the SCM organization.
Ensure organizational structure, resources, and capabilities are aligned to current and future SCM and business needs.
Provide clear direction and leadership in shaping new and evolving ways of working.
Requirements
Minimum 15 years’ experience in Supply Chain function
Minimum 10 years’ experience in a managerial capacity
Experience working in MNC and highly matrixed organizations
Experience working in chemical/gas industry; other B-to-B industries with similar level of constraints and requirements will be considered
