Gulfport Behavioral Health System is a 92‑bed psychiatric hospital offering child, adolescent, adult and military service behavioral health programs and treatment services.
Position Summary
Join our expanding services in the Marketing Department as a Military Business Development Liaison. The Liaison will develop and maintain direct referral relationships with a focus on military installations in designated target markets along the MS Gulf Coast that will generate desired utilization of the facility’s continuum of care and allow the facility management access to the needs of our communities. This position involves travel and may include work on evenings or weekends. Must be a Military Veteran with an ability to access military installations.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain direct referral relationships with military installations to generate utilization of the facility’s continuum of care.
Identify opportunities within target markets and collaborate with internal teams to increase utilization.
Travel to military installations on a regular basis to build and strengthen relationships.
Support marketing initiatives to increase awareness.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a behavioral health area, marketing, business administration or related field.
Two (2) years’ experience in health care business development/marketing environment with measurable business development results; knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles preferred.
Must be a Veteran with credentials to access military facilities.
Valid driver’s license.
