We are seeking a skilled CT Scan Technologist to join our team at a small but vital Critical Access Hospital in Southern Minnesota. In this essential role, you will operate advanced imaging equipment, including a Siemens Perspective 64-slice CT scanner and Shimadzu portable X-ray units, supporting diagnostic and pain management services. You will work alongside a dedicated team in a facility that features a fully furnished on-site apartment with access to free meals, fostering a comfortable and welcoming environment. Your work will contribute directly to patient care in a facility that serves a 25-bed critical access hospital, attached clinics, and outreach services, predominantly focusing on hospital-based imaging. Required Skills: Certification in CT and X-ray imaging (must be CT certified) Proficiency with Siemens Perspective 64-slice CT scanner and general radiography Ability to operate C-arm fluoroscopy equipment in the OR for pain injections Strong attention to detail and patient care skills Knowledge of radiation safety protocols Excellent communication skills and teamwork mindset Nice to Have Skills: Experience working in a rural or critical access hospital setting Additional imaging certifications or qualifications Familiarity with Delta General X-ray rooms or portable X-ray units Ability to adapt to rotating shifts and call coverage Preferred Education and Experience: HB or equivalent certification At least 1-2 years of imaging experience, especially in CT or emergency settings Prior experience with C-arm procedures is advantageous Other Requirements: Must be CT-certified Ability to work 10-hour shifts, primarily weekdays with rotating weekends and holidays Availability for call hours from Friday evening through Monday morning Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when necessary Travel expenses or licensure reimbursements as applicable This position offers competitive hourly pay and benefits, including weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical coverage, a robust referral bonus program, paid sick leave, and reimbursements for licensure and travel expenses.
