Communications & Front Desk Coordinator -(Non Profit)

Lewiston ID
$18-$21/hour
Monday-Friday 8:45AM - 4:15 PM

A well-establishednon-profit organization in the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley is seeking aFront Office Coordinator / Social Media Assistant to support daily office operations, client services, and community outreach efforts.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in administrative support, receptionist/front desk operations, marketing, communications, and social media content creation who are passionate about making a difference.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk Duties
Serve as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and community members
Answer multi-line phones, route calls, and provide program information
Maintain a welcoming, professional, and supportive front office environment
Communicate with empathy and understanding
Administrative Support
Perform data entry, reporting, and general administrative tasks
Maintain organized client files, records, and intake documentation
Handle email, mail distribution, and office correspondence
Support staff with scheduling, coordination, and daily operations
Client Services & Program Support
Provide information on community resources including domestic violence support, shelter services, and advocacy programs
Coordinate with local agencies and community partners
Assist with outreach events, fundraising efforts, and volunteer coordination
Social Media & Marketing (Experience Required)
Manage and post content on social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
Create graphics and outreach materials usingCanva (critical skill)
Support community engagement and awareness campaigns
Office Operations & Financial Tasks
Process payments, donations, and maintain transaction records
Track program registrations and maintain internal databases
Order office supplies and ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Qualifications
Experience in front office, receptionist, or administrative coordinator roles
Leads with empathy, compassion, and patience in all communication
Strong skills in customer service, communication, social media content creation
Experience with social media management and Canva REQUIRED
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in a sensitive environment
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management
