Locum - Physician - Neonatology Southfield, MI

Required Skills:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology
• Neonatology Fellowship Training is mandatory
• Active medical license in Michigan (or in-hand)
• Certification in BLS, NRP, and any other state-mandated credentials
• Proven ability to manage a Level 3 NICU, including attending C-sections and transferring neonates
• Strong clinical skills with experience in high-acuity neonatal care
• Competence with Cerner, Ecare, or PowerChart EMR systems

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience in a Level 3 NICU setting
• Familiarity with trauma designation protocols
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume neonatal environment

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Completion of Neonatology fellowship training
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Neonatology practice in a hospital setting

Other Requirements:

• Availability to cover night shifts from 7 pm to 7 am with in-house call
• Commitment to ongoing coverage and flexibility for extended assignments
• Travel or mileage reimbursement applicable as per company policy
• Credentialing process of approximately 90-120 days, with temporary coverage approved immediately
• All necessary licensure and certifications must be current and in-hand prior to assignment
