Schedule:

7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12‑hour shifts (three 12‑hour shifts per week) with weekend and holiday requirements as applicable.

Pay Range:

$38.20 – $57.30 per hour

Responsibilities

Engages in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence‑based practices.

Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care, engaging patients and families throughout the continuum.

Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team to influence care outcomes.

Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.

Continuously evaluates patient, team, and unit outcomes, taking action as needed.

Administers medications, treatments, and therapies safely and according to clinical protocols and procedures.

Demonstrates effective communication, feedback, and conflict resolution; fosters team collaboration and appropriate delegation.

Pursues professional development, completes required education, and maintains certifications.

Adheres to the ANA Code of Ethics and practices ethical decision‑making, respecting interdisciplinary roles, and contributing to unbiased patient care.

Delegates appropriately to other RNs, LPNs, and unlicensed assistive personnel.

Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.

Floats to other units, departments, care areas, or facilities within the designated service area as needed.

Provides age‑appropriate care, demonstrating knowledge of developmental principles and applying them to assessment and care decisions.

Requirements
Education:

Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.

Certification / Registration / License:

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.

Active, unrestricted RN license in the state(s) of practice (compact or single‑state). Licensure for telehealth requires privilege in each client state.

Experience:

Typically 1 year of experience in clinical nursing; at least 6 months required beyond New Grad residency program.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking.

Time management, prioritization, and problem‑solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Proficiency in computer functions (e.g., email, electronic records, digital platforms).

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach above shoulders, twist frequently, and lift up to 35 lb.

Push/pull with 30 lb force and perform a sliding transfer of 150 lb with a second person present.

Functional speech, vision, hearing, and fine hand manipulation for IV insertion and other procedures.

Expected exposure to chemical, hazardous waste, blood and body fluids; protective clothing required.

Capability to respond quickly to changes in patient or unit conditions; may be required to complete physical safety interventions.

Preferred:

Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN).

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation:

Pay range $38.20 – $57.30 per hour. Includes base pay, shift and on‑call premiums, incentive pay for select positions, and opportunities for annual increases based on performance.
