Production Shift Manager
Houston, TX / On-Site
2nd Shift- 5:45pm- 6:15a, weekends required
Salary: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 based on experience
Primary Responsibilities
Promote and maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.
Execute operations per H.B. Fuller policies and procedures.
Achieve production targets for quality, cost, and on-time delivery.
Collaborate with maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize assets.
Lead product scale-ups and new product introductions.
Identify and resolve issues using structured problem-solving.
Manage shift-level inventory and ensure accurate ERP data entry.
Coach, develop, and evaluate team performance.
Minimum Requirements
High School diploma + 5 years production experience (2 years supervisory), OR Bachelor's degree + 3 years supervisory experience.
Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage conflict and drive results independently.
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Requirements
BS in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
3+ years managing multi-shift manufacturing operations.
Knowledge of chemical plant operations and regulatory compliance.
Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
The salary for this role is $75,000.00-$90,000.00.
