• Case Mix: OB hospitalist coverage including labor and delivery, surgical backup, and emergency OB/GYN care
FACILITY INFORMATION
• No. of Beds in Department: 288 hospital beds; 10-bed Level II NICU
• EMR System: Meditech
• Office Equipment Available: L&D and surgical services
• Specialty Backup Available: CNMs (first assist trained), pediatric hospitalist, 24/7 anesthesia
• Support Staff Available: Multidisciplinary OB team
• Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Coverage

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active FL license required (IMLC accepted)
• Board: Board Certified in OB/GYN
• DEA: Active FL DEA required
• Certifications: Not Specified
• Experience: Minimum 2 years recent OB hospitalist experience with case logs
• Other Qualifications: Must have practiced as OB hospitalist within past 2 years
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide 24-hour OB/GYN beeper call coverage
• Manage labor and delivery patients and perform deliveries
• Respond to emergency OB/GYN cases
• Collaborate with CNMs and multidisciplinary care team
• Maintain accurate documentation in Meditech EMR
