Position Overview:RecruitWell is seeking a Board-Certified Neurohospitalist to provide locum tenens coverage in Harlingen, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for providers seeking a predictable inpatient neurology role with no call responsibilities and the flexibility to accommodate multiple clinicians for ongoing coverage.

• Duration: Ongoing need
• Schedule: To be determined based on provider availability
• Call: None
• Coverage Model: Facility will accept multiple providers
• Practice Setting: Hospital-based inpatient neurology
• Facility Designation: Stroke-Certified Hospital
• EMR: Cerner

• Provide inpatient neurological care for adult patients
• Evaluate and manage acute and chronic neurological conditions
• Participate in stroke care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Interpret neurological assessments and diagnostic studies
• Coordinate care plans and ensure appropriate documentation in the EMR
• Work collaboratively with hospital staff to deliver high-quality patient care

• Board Certification: Required (ABIM or Neurology Board Certification)
• Licensure: Active Texas medical license - Required
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS - Required
• Experience: Prior inpatient neurology or neurohospitalist experience preferred
• Eligibility: Must be able to work independently within a hospital setting
