Are you looking to launch a rewarding career in the marine industry? M&M Marine/Freedom Boat Club in Plymouth, MA is seeking a motivated and reliable Boat Yard Laborer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic, outdoor environment surrounded by the boating lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the safe and efficient moving of boats at the dealership/storage yard
Spring boat prep: Unwrapping shrink wrap, cleaning, waxing, detailing, bottom painting
Fall boat prep: Shrink wrapping, bottom scraping, bottom painting & power washing
Perform general maintenance and cleaning of vessels and the boat yard
Support technicians and other team members with various tasks
Operate yard equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects
Team player with good communication skills
Previous experience in a marine or similar environment is a plus, but not required
Must be 18 years of age or older

Compensation: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

We are a Freedom Boat Club franchise owned and operated by the Carrick Group LLC/M&M Jersey Marine LLC. We operate 20 Massachusetts club locations and nine New Jersey (north Jersey shore) club locations with our operations center located in Plymouth, MA.
Freedom Boat Club is the world's oldest and largest membership boat club with over 30 years of experience offering members access to over 400 locations in the U.S., Canada and Europe. We take care of the maintenance, cleaning, repair, insurance and storage. The fleet includes bowriders, pontoons, and center console fishing boats. We work in this field because it's fun! Solitude. Fishing. Adventure. Sandbars. Sightseeing. Watersports. Family Time.
