Job Summary:
The Woman s Hospital of Texas is seeking to recruit a Physician Assistant to provide support to a busy, employed Pediatric Surgery group. The position is open to established PAs or new grads interested in the pediatric surgery service line.Qualified Candidates:
- Certification as a Physician Assistant
- Ability to obtain or maintain an active Texas medical license
- New grad PA's will be considered - but must have strong pediatric surgery experience or passion for pediatric surgery.
- Must be people-oriented and willing to learn
- Monday Friday, 7:00 am 4:00 pm
- Call approximately 6 weeknights a month, & every 5th weekend
- Will cover The Woman s Hospital of Texas, HCA Houston Clear Lake & satellite locations
- Responsibilities include: rounding on patients, seeing consults & newborn circumcisions in the hospital, first assisting in the operating room, and seeing new/established/post-operative patients on clinic days
