Family Practice/Primary Care Physician Assistant

Physician Assistant (PA-C) - Dawsonville, GA

Job Type: Full-Time Part-Time

Job Summary & Responsibilities:

Seeking an experienced and patient-focused Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join an established primary care practice in Dawsonville, GA. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a primary care setting and be comfortable managing both acute and chronic conditions across a diverse patient population. Strong Nurse Practitioner candidates with relevant experience will also be considered.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday

• 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

• No on-call, weekend, or night shifts

Patient Population:

• All age groups (Provider not required to see patients under 5 years old)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered primary care

• Manage acute and chronic medical conditions

• Address behavioral health concerns as appropriate

• Develop and implement individualized care plans

• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members

• Coordinate care across settings when needed

• Review treatment plans and interventions for effectiveness

• Support cost-effective care and reduce unnecessary hospitalizations

• Travel between care sites as required

Education, Licensure, and Experience:

• Active Georgia Physician Assistant License (Required prior to start)

• PA-C Certification

• BLS Certification

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience (No new graduates)

• Experience in primary care strongly preferred

• Strong care coordination and clinical decision-making skills

• DEA certification may be pending (practice is open to waiting)
