Overview Mainelli Wagner & Associates, Inc. is a growing multi-disciplined civil engineering firm in search of a Bridge Design Engineer based in Lincoln, Nebraska. Responsibilities Project and staff management
Customer relations
Complete plan development and design on a variety of bridge and roadway improvement projects
Design analysis and calculations to support a variety of bridge designs
Structural plan and detail development for various types of bridges
Lead and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to produce bridge design plans and additional documents
Coordination with owners, engineers, and construction managers
Adhere to strict quality control requirements
Qualifications Applicants with a BS or MS degree in Civil Engineering are preferred
3 or more years of experience in bridge design
Licensed Professional Engineer in Nebraska, or ability to become licensed within 6 months
Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel if required
Experience with MicroStation, LEAP Bridge, Midas Civil; Civil 3D desirable
AASHTO LRFD code preferred
Notes Applicants have obtained BS or MS degree in Civil Engineering is preferred, and 3 or more years of experience in bridge design. Additionally, applicants should be a licensed Professional Engineer in Nebraska, or have to ability to become licensed within 6-months. A valid driver’s license is required; employees may be required to travel.
