Job Duties
The Central Receiving Coordinator ensures sound fiscal management and accountability through the effective receiving, storage, retrieval, delivery, surplus, and salvage of university assets. The Central Receiving Coordinator is responsible for:
Assisting in the central receiving of daily operations.
Ensuring goods are entered into Banner Financial System and daily receiving log.
Securing warehouse.
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and/or Competencies required to successfully perform the work: Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license issued by a U.S. state or territory or have the ability to obtain a valid driver's license prior to employment, with an acceptable driving record, as determined by agency policy. This requirement is job-related and consistent with business necessity, as driving may be an essential function of the position. Physically perform requirements of the job, driving, and prolonged standing, walking, and lifting up to 20 pounds. Ability to use personal computers and automated equipment. Ability to communicate effectively with staff and faculty. Ability to drive trucks, prolonged standing, walking, and lifting up to 20 pounds. Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with faculty and staff is essential.
Additional Considerations
Post-secondary training in shipping and receiving. Experience with Eva, and Banner
