Position Overview: We are seeking a Product Coordinator that will drive the success of our multi-disciplinary programs and initiatives for our subsidiary, Hana Defense Solutions (HDS) under the Native Hawaiian nonprofit corporation, The Hana Group. From strategic vision to tactical implementation, we deliver adaptable, mission-centered solutions that help government and defense clients achieve lasting impact. Our team supports the mission-critical efforts of the Department of War and federal clients. As the Product Coordinator, you play a key role in translating client objectives into actionable project tasks, ensuring that team activities stay organized, on schedule, and aligned with both operational standards and the warfighter's mission. This position combines creativity and strategic program execution with hands-on product leadership. You will ensure our teams continue to develop high-impact human-centered design products from concept through delivery while maintaining alignment with client mission, user needs, and business objectives. The individual must have a strong sense of The Hana Group's and Hana Defense Solutions' values and mission to guarantee products maintain our high standards.
Position Description & Core Responsibilities
Support the Product Manager in planning, coordinating, and tracking project activities across client engagements
Maintain project documentation, deliverable schedules, and task trackers to ensure accurate visibility into product status
Assist in preparing client briefs, progress reports, and leadership summaries
Track action items, milestones, and dependencies to ensure timeline completion and escalation when needed
Coordinate logistics for meetings, workshops, and collaborative sessions
Maintain alignment between project documentation and compliance requirements, including data handling, quality standards, and contractual deliverables
Collaborate with team members across operations, finance, and delivery to ensure consistent communication and documentation
Champion innovation and continuous improvement, using methods, metrics and feedback to inform iterative development
Cultivate a culture of ownership, agility and accountability
Develop deliverables that meet DoW standards and security requirements
Report directly to the Director of Operations to provide information on account planning

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Management, Communication, or related field
2-4 years experience working with DoW, federal clients or other mission-critical organizations understanding their procurement, culture and constraints
Proven success managing complex programs and leading product development in technical, mission-driven domains
Demonstrate ability to create and execute both human-centered design efforts and tactical plans under time and budget constraints
Strong visual communication and storytelling skills to convey technical and business priorities to diverse audiences
Ability to thrive in ambiguity, adjust quickly to changing conditions and make decisions in fast-paced settings
JIRA and making decisions (Scrum Master)

Excellent facilitation, negotiation, and decision-making skills
