Job Description
Pay Grade: I Supervises, guides, and/or instructs the work assignments of subordinate staff. Supervises a unit to establish and enforce child support obligations of responsible parents. Coordinates child support activities with legal, judicial, and public organizations. Roles and Responsibilities:
Supervises a unit that reinforces and communicates the conditions of existing obligations and enforcement actions.
Interprets and applies state, federal, and agency laws, rules, policies, and procedures, and assists staff with sensitive, complex cases.
Provides human resources management direction to assigned staff.
Performs administrative assignments as required for the efficient operations of the unit.
Coordinates and participates in local and statewide projects, as requested.
Performs other professional responsibilities as assigned by the manager, director, or leadership team.
Core Competences:
Home-based technology that is equipped with a Windows-based operating system and high-speed internet access in order to receive the agency's software applications required for candidates approved to telework.
Compliance with the State of GA teleworking policy requirements.
Excellent oral, written, analytical, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and/or standard software applications typically used in a corporate office environment.
$tars System proficient and Edge trained is a plus.
Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma/GED AND Five (5) years of direct job-related experience, which includes Two (2) years in a lead worker, team leader, or supervisory role.
OR
Four (4) years of experience at the lower-level Child Support Cust Svc Rep 2 (SST091) or a position equivalent.
Two (2) years of experience at the lower-level Child Support Cust Svc Rep 3 (SST092) or a position equivalent.
One (1) year of experience at the lower-level Child Support Cust Svc Rep 4 (SST093) or a position equivalent.
