Work Dates Needed: 5/1/26 - 10/31/26 (Base) (or as soon as accepted and credentialed); 11/1/26 - 4/30/27 (option 1);
Preferred Schedule: Urgent Care operates 8a-8p Daily, including Federal Holidays
Worksite Setting: Urgent Care Center
Scope of Work: Provide urgent care triage and assessment, order and execute diagnostic tests as appropriate and recommend treatment. Document clinical assessments, treatment decisions, medications ordered, diagnostic tests, and referral consultations as needed for every patient encounter using the electronic comprehensive patient record system (CPRS) on the day of encounter, when patients require a level of care higher than can be reasonably provided, appropriate stabilization in prep for transfer, consult with referring physicians; follow all established medication policies and procedures; Communicate test results; provide discharge education and follow up instructions; Estimated 15% administrative work
Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: Active, Full Unrestricted license any state; DEA; BLS/ACLS (AHA preferred); BC/BE; Candidates with VA experience a plus, NPI #; Clean on IOG search
EMR: VistA/CPRS
