JOB OVERVIEW

PATIENT INFORMATION

• Patient Demographics: Adults

• Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 12-15 patients per day

• Case Mix: Approximately 80% Oncology and 20% Hematology (benign and malignant conditions)

FACILITY INFORMATION

• EMR System: Epic

• Office Equipment Available: Standard oncology clinic resources

• Specialty Backup Available: Interventional Radiology for bone marrow procedures

• Support Staff Available: 1 NP and nursing support

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

• Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 120 days

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

• Oncology and hematology consults

• Chemotherapy and treatment management

• Bone marrow procedures (preferred but not required)

• Board: Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide outpatient hematology and oncology care

• Manage treatment plans for oncology and hematology patients

• Collaborate with NP and clinical staff

• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams

• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR
