  • Start Date: July (ongoing)
  • Minimum Commitment: 5 shifts
  • Clinic Shifts: 10/month, Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM (1 day may include surgeries)
  • Night/Call Shifts: Occasional
  • 24-Hour Call Shifts: 7 AM - 7 AM
  • Providers Needed: 2

  • Total Beds: 6
  • Average Scheduled Patients/Day: 1-2
  • Physicians in Practice: 2
  • Onsite Lab & Ultrasound: Yes
  • L&D Nursing Staff: Yes
  • Low Risk Pregnancy: 46 patients due in August
  • High Risk Pregnancy: 28% of practice
  • GYN Cases: 50% of practice
  • Average Nursery Admissions/Day: 1-2
  • EMR: Meditech
  • Trauma Level: Level II
Procedures RequiredObstetrics:
  • Low Risk Pregnancy (history of twins, toxemia, pyelonephritis, etc.)
  • High Risk Pregnancy (toxemia, diabetes, class II+ cardiac, chronic lung/renal issues)
Labor & Delivery:
  • Routine Delivery: Vaginal, low forceps, decision-making for C-section
  • Complicated Delivery: C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions
  • Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
Gynecology:
  • Ectopic pregnancy
  • Ovary removal
  • Cystectomy
  • Extensive LOAs
Licenses & Certifications (Required)
  • Board Certified OB/GYN (no BE)
  • BLS & ACLS
  • Active Michigan Medical License
  • Local (drive-in) provider
