The Role
The company is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to lead commercial growth across the ERCOT (Texas) market. This is a consultative, relationship-driven role working directly with large commercial and industrial (C&I) energy users.

You will help organisations identify operational flexibility, participate in Demand Response and other market programs, and extract financial and operational value from energy optimisation solutions. You will also act as a key commercial voice for the ERCOT region, providing market insight and influencing regional strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end commercial growth in ERCOT

Develop and manage complex, consultative sales cycles

Engage with operational, technical, financial, and executive stakeholders

Identify customer flexibility opportunities and value drivers

Work closely with internal technical teams to scope tailored solutions

Build long-term relationships with C&I energy users

Provide market intelligence to support regional strategy

Candidate Profile

7+ years’ experience in B2B or complex consultative sales

Strong exposure to ERCOT, Demand Response, flexibility programs, or distributed energy

Proven ability to manage long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles

Comfortable operating independently with minimal supervision

Commercial mindset focused on value-based selling (not commodity sales)

Confident engaging with technical, operational, and executive teams
