Dynamic Systems Inc., a division of Ho-Chunk, Inc. Location: Luke AFB Job Type: On-Call | Second Shift (4:30 p.m. 1:00 a.m.)
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining clean, sanitary, and orderly facilities within assigned areas. This role ensures a safe, welcoming environment for occupants by performing routine cleaning, sanitizing, and light maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or collaboratively in a team setting during second-shift hours.
Key responsibilities include following established cleaning procedures, schedules, and safety protocols; performing routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, high dusting, floor care, and trash removal; sanitizing restrooms, common areas, and high-touch surfaces to maintain hygiene standards; maintaining organized and properly stocked cleaning supply and equipment storage areas; safely and effectively using cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment; operating cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners; communicating effectively with supervisors and team members regarding work status or issues; supporting a clean, safe, and professional work environment at all times; and performing other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and experience required include a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to follow written and verbal instructions, strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards, ability to work independently and as part of a team, reliable attendance and punctuality, and physical stamina to perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks. Preferred qualifications include previous custodial or janitorial experience, particularly in a medical or professional setting, knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal practices, and experience operating commercial cleaning equipment.
Work environment and physical requirements include ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds, ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods, regular exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment, ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including heat and cold, and requires manual dexterity, physical endurance, and attention to safety practices.
Schedule includes on-call position, second shift: 4:30 p.m. 1:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, and some weekends may be required based on operational needs.
