Busser (Part-time)
Location: Santa Monica Seafood Caf, Santa Monica, CA Reports To: Manager on Duty FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Hourly, Part-Time
Salary Range: $17.81 to $18 per hour (DOE) + Tips
Santa Monica Seafood is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Part-Time Bussers to support our dynamic Caf team in Santa Monica. This role is essential to creating a welcoming, efficient, and enjoyable dining experience for every guest. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in teamwork and attention to detail, we'd love to meet you!
What You'll Do
Deliver an exceptional guest experience by maintaining clean, organized tables and ensuring water levels and table settings are refreshed promptly.
Support the service team by setting up and replenishing condiment stations, trash containers, and maintaining a sanitary bussing station.
Communicate clearly and consistently with servers and management to ensure guest needs are met quickly and professionally.
Assist with proper setup and breakdown of the bus station and complete side work responsibilities.
Help with polishing and stocking service tools (silverware, glassware, plates) and maintain cleanliness in all service areas.
Assist with the host station at times

Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 68 hours per shift).
Frequent bending, lifting, and carrying items up to 30 lbs (such as trays, dishes, and supplies).
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with continuous movement.
Ability to reach, stoop, and perform repetitive motions as needed for cleaning and resetting tables.
Comfortable working in a Market/Cafe: cold, wet, or hot, and refrigerated environments, noise can be moderate.
