We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to
join our growing team at Akvelon. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving business
growth, cultivating client relationships, and identifying strategic opportunities within the
technology consultancy sector. This position is located in the Seattle / Eastside area.
Responsibilities: Client Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our
client base in the Greater Seattle Area and beyond.
Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and
market dynamics to inform and adapt business development strategies.
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute effective business development strategies
aligned with Akvelon's objectives to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients,
ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and delivering exceptional client
satisfaction.
Proposal Development: Collaborate with technical teams to create compelling
proposals, presentations, and pitches that showcase Akvelon's technological expertise
and value proposition.
Networking: Represent Akvelon at industry events, conferences, and networking
functions to establish a strong presence and identify potential business opportunities.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales,
marketing, and project delivery, to ensure effective communication and successful
project implementation.
Revenue Forecasting: Develop and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and pipelines,
providing regular updates to leadership.
Requirements Proven track record (5+ years) of successful business development in the technology consultancy sector
Strong understanding of technology trends and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively
Demonstrated ability to build and nurture client relationships, resulting in successful partnerships and repeat business
Working Conditions and Benefits ????????????????????????: $150,000 to $350,000 per year, DOE, includes commission structure
This position is located in the greater Seattle/Eastside area. Local travel up to 50%.
