Facility in London, KY seeking Ortho Surgery locums coverage Rates: $2700/24 hours with 4 hour gratis, $375/hr after 4 hours Opportunity Highlights

• Start Date: May 11, 2026 (Ongoing monthly coverage).
• Initial Block: May 11 (7:00 AM) May 18 (7:00 AM).
• Schedule: 24-hour call coverage.
• Clinic Duties: Wednesdays.
• Setting: Hospital, Surgery Center, and Clinic.
• Support Staff: CMA in clinic; full OR staff at the hospitals.
• EMR: EPIC.

Clinical Scope & Volume The surgeon will manage general orthopedic cases, including trauma-related fractures and injuries, across two regional hospitals.

• Average Daily Volume: patients per day.
• Consults: consults per day (Hospitalists handle primary admissions).
• Average Callback: Varies between 4 6 hours of patient contact.
• Required Procedures: General Orthopedic procedures, fracture management, and acute injury repair.

Provider Requirements

• Board Status: Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery (Required).
• Licensure: Active Kentucky (KY) State License in hand (Required).
• Certifications: BLS and DEA required for credentialing.
• Background: 100% Clean Background/Malpractice (Required for emergency privileges).
• Training: Completion of required Residency and/or Fellowship.
• Commitment: Must be available for the full stretch of initial dates.

Credentialing Information

• Timeframe: 30 days for standard privileges.
• Requirements: Copy of degrees, Photo ID, current KY license, and current DEA.
