Job Description: AECOM is looking for a Bridge Design Engineer II to enhance the capabilities of AECOM's regional bridge team based in our Denver, CO office.
Responsibilities Excellent written and oral communication skills. Work within a well-established group offering diverse projects, technical challenges, and career development opportunities.
Perform work independently with minimal supervision.
Prepare contract drawings, technical specifications, design calculations, technical reports, and construction cost estimates.
Perform existing bridge inspection and condition assessment, and develop rehabilitation strategies.
Qualifications Minimum Requirements: BA/BS + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in civil (Structural) engineering.
2+ years of bridge design experience.
Master's degree is a plus.
Experience with related project work with Colorado DOT / City of Denver, etc.
Knowledge of 3D finite element software such as CSI Bridge, MIDAS, SAP2000, etc.
Railroad bridge design experience is a plus.
