The Role
Wonderful College Prep Academy is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Wonderful Scholar for a full-time, 8‑week Academics Intern position. This internship provides hands‑on professional experience focused primarily on curriculum inventory, coordination, and academic program support. Interns will gain exposure to cross‑functional collaboration with Academics, Facilities, Operations, and school site leadership while learning how large‑scale curriculum initiatives are managed and implemented.
This position is based in Delano and begins June 12, 2026. The schedule for this internship is
Monday – Friday from 7:30 am – 4:30 pm .
Duties and Responsibilities
Curriculum Inventory & Systems Support (Primary Focus)
Receive training on the curriculum inventory and tracking system and apply best practices for data accuracy and organization.
Inventory new curriculum materials and maintain accurate records within the curriculum inventory platform.
Monitor curriculum stock levels and assist with ongoing inventory audits.
Review instructional materials for completeness and damage and report issues as needed.
Inventory classrooms and instructional spaces to ensure alignment with curriculum delivery plans.
Curriculum Distribution & Coordination
Coordinate curriculum distribution in collaboration with Facilities and Operations teams.
Oversee the organization and delivery of curriculum materials to ensure they are distributed to the correct classrooms and school sites.
Work closely with the Special Projects Coordinator and school site administrators to communicate delivery timelines, updates, and confirmations.
Maintain documentation confirming successful delivery and room completion.
Purchasing & Requisition Support
Receive training on submitting purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
Assist the Academics team with procurement‑related tasks tied to curriculum and instructional materials.
Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) Support
Support the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program, including summer school, as needed.
Responsibilities may include supervising students, assisting with small group instruction, or providing program support based on experience and skill set.
Curriculum & Instruction Team Support
Assist the Curriculum and Instruction team with a variety of academic projects as needed.
Support initiatives related to English Learners (EL) and content areas such as English Language Arts, Math, Science, and other subjects.
Tasks may include organizing EL materials, inventorying science lab supplies, organizing instructional resources, and supporting special academic projects.
General Support
Communicate effectively with staff to support smooth day‑to‑day academic operations.
Complete other duties as assigned in support of the Academics department, including collaboration with Curriculum and Instruction, Student Services, Expanded Learning, Special Education, and school site teams.
Pay : $18.50 per hour.
Qualifications
Must be a Wonderful Scholar active and eligible for college success scholarship.

Must be 18 years of age and a junior or senior in college.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Self‑directed and able to work autonomously.
Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas.
