Engineer Design Contractor
Seeking an Engineer Design Contractor to assist in the planning, design, and development of technical standards for gas distribution infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for a self-starter with strong communication skills, critical thinking abilities, and sound decision-making capabilities .
Key Responsibilities As an Engineer in the Design Group , a typical day might include:
Working on gas storage or gas fueling station assignments
Designing components or functionality for pipeline products
Planning and designing mechanical equipment and components for maintenance projects
Performing system balances to identify system low points and develop solutions
Providing oversight and support for construction activities

Have strong interpersonal skills and can leverage internal and external stakeholders to accomplish tasks efficiently
Can work independently and collaboratively in a self-guided manner
Possess a customer-focused, critical-thinking mindset with a willingness to learn and solve problems

Can work effectively within a matrix organizational structure with cross-functional teams
Qualifications Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or General) with 1-3 years of progressive engineering experience OR
Equivalent academic education and experience
Certifications (Preferred):
Engineer in Training (E.I.T.)
Required Skills Project Management
Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
Basic proficiency in CAD/GIS (Computer-Assisted Design/Geographic Information System)
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
Intermediate proficiency in CAD/GIS tools
