Logistics Planner
Position: Logistics Planner
Shift: D-Shift (Thursday – Saturday, Evening/Odd Week Wed 7:45 PM – 8:00 AM)
Pay: Starting salary at $55,000/year
Additional Incentives: N/A

Job Responsibilities
Build and validate daily load plans (cost, service) through EFMS, Topex, TMS system or Red PrairieRoute Interactive; expedite requests and ensure carrier selections are honored.
Ensure carrier receipt of daily load tenders via 204, fax, or TMS.
Coordinate appointments to meet customer delivery requirements.
Communicate frequently with internal (DHL Supply Chain transportation, customer support, operations) and external customers (carriers, client transportation, client Customer Service Organizations).
Coordinate carrier pickup times and provide daily shipment plans to the distribution center.
Identify and execute continuous improvement opportunities to improve financial performance and service levels.
Identify compliance issues and participate in metric feedback processes; propose remedies/action plans to the Operations supervisor.
Supervise yard and shuttle service.
Required Qualifications
0-3 years logistics industry experience (required).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated organizational, decision‑making, multi‑tasking, and analytical skills.
Proficiency with TM systems, fleet routing systems, multi‑mode optimization.
Advanced Excel and Access experience.
Possess supervisory and leadership qualities.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (required).
