STRUCK is seeking a licensed, Utah-based Design Architect to help lead the design and development of experiential environments and architectural projects. This role sits at the intersection of architecture, brand storytelling, and spatial experience.
We Need...
The Design Architect collaborates closely with Creative Directors, designers, producers, and strategists to translate creative vision into spatial form—developing architecture that is both inspiring and buildable. While technical expertise is essential, this role is equally focused on collaboration, design thinking, spatial storytelling, and experiential design.
The ideal candidate is a highly creative architect who enjoys working within multidisciplinary teams and thrives in a design-driven environment.
You Will...
Partner closely with Creative Directors and design teams to translate creative vision into compelling spatial and architectural solutions.
Develop architectural concepts that express brand narrative, user journey, and experiential storytelling.
Contribute to early ideation, concept development, and design exploration alongside graphic, digital, and experiential designers.
Help shape how brand ideas translate into physical environments, installations, and spatial experiences.
Lead architectural development from concept through construction documentation, and coordinate construction administration.
Produce architectural drawings, diagrams, and models that clearly communicate design intent.
Ensure projects are buildable, safe, and aligned with code and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and specialty vendors.
Work closely with Producers to support project timelines, budget, technical feasibility, and consultant coordination.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between creative vision, technical requirements, and fabrication realities.
Participate in design reviews and client presentations.
Provide architectural oversight during fabrication and construction phases.
Respond to technical questions from contractors and vendors.
Ensure final built work maintains the integrity of the original design vision.
You Have...
Must be a licensed Architect.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
Experience in contract negotiation and architecture insurance set-up preferred.
6+ years of professional experience in architecture or experiential environments.
A strong portfolio demonstrating design excellence, spatial thinking, and creative problem solving.
Experience working on projects that integrate architecture, brand, or experiential design is highly valued.
Proficiency in architectural design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, or SketchUp.
Strong understanding of building codes, permitting, and construction methods.
Ability to communicate ideas clearly through drawings, diagrams, and presentations.
Strong interest in environmental graphics and wayfinding.
Comfortable working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary design environment.
