Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for an Ice Cream Truck Ambassador based in Northern New Jersey. The Ambassador will be responsible for serving ice cream treats, interacting with guests to provide an inclusive and welcoming experience, managing inventory, ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of the truck, and setting up and breaking down events. Additional tasks include communicating with event hosts to ensure seamless service, handling minor technical concerns related to the truck or equipment, and maintaining punctuality and professionalism at all times. Alsies of Montclair is bringing premium ice cream and happiness to schools, neighborhoods, corporate events, birthday parties, and community celebrations throughout Northern New Jersey.

Bonus Incentive: $150 bonus after completing training and 90 shifts with no unexcused absences or incidents.

Qualifications

Customer service skills and interpersonal communication to engage with diverse groups of guests courteously

Basic understanding of food safety procedures and ability to maintain clean and hygienic workspaces

Organizational and time-management skills to handle inventory, event timelines, and truck maintenance

Ability to operate mobile equipment and handle minor technical issues related to the truck or service setup

A positive attitude, adaptability, and a readiness to represent the brand professionally

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Previous experience in food service, customer service, or event coordination is a plus

High school diploma or equivalent
