The Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented
Document Control Analyst
to manage the lifecycle of technical drawings and engineering documentation for large-scale energy infrastructure assets. This role is central to the success of Capital, O&M, and MOC projects, ensuring that critical data is accurate, accessible, and securely archived.

Key Accountabilities
Drawing Management:
Coordinate, receive, and distribute all technical drawing requests and issue packages utilizing an Electronic Document Management (EDM) system.
Quality Assurance:
Identify and investigate gaps in data quality or process management to ensure the integrity of technical metadata.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external consultants regarding drawing control standards and contractual procedures.
Process Improvement:
Assist in the continuous development of drawing control standards and procedural enhancements.
Project Support:
Provide Construction and As-Built drawing coordination for projects assigned to EPCs, ensuring seamless data handover.
Systems Integrity:
Work closely with cross-functional drafting and analyst teams to maintain the quality and consistency of the
Meridian
document control environment.
Required Qualifications
Education:
Technology Diploma or equivalent certification in a related field.
Experience:
0–3 years of related experience in document control, technical archiving, or engineering support.
Software:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Skills:
Strong ability to manage deadlines and resources in a customer-service-oriented environment.
Preferred Assets
Industry Experience:
Background in the
Oil & Gas
or Energy sector.
Technical Systems:
Direct experience with
Meridian
or comparable Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).
Design Tools:
Basic knowledge of
AutoCAD
is a significant plus.
Analytical Problem Solving:
Ability to resolve technical issues with minimal supervision.
Communication:
Sophisticated verbal and written skills for presenting data and summaries to stakeholders.
Initiative:
Self-motivated and capable of adapting standard practices to meet new project tasks.
