Role Description
This is a full‑time on‑site Production Manager/Body Shop Manager role located in Atlanta, GA. The role involves overseeing the daily operations of the body shop, scheduling and prioritizing repairs, monitoring workflow, ensuring quality control, and maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Additional responsibilities include managing team performance, coordinating with clients, maintaining inventory of materials, and ensuring timely delivery of services. The Production Manager will also identify opportunities for process improvement and foster a productive and positive work culture.
Qualifications
Strong leadership, team management, and organizational skills
Proven experience in automotive repair or body shop operations
Proficiency with workflow planning and production scheduling
Knowledge of safety, compliance, and industry best practices
Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and conflict resolution abilities
Experience with inventory management and vendor coordination
Proficiency with computer software and tools used in automotive shop management
High attention to detail and focus on maintaining quality standards
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, hands‑on work environment
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or training in automotive repair or management is a plus
