Role Description
Position Mission:

Support OPS on assigned shift by being the link between OPS leadership, Training Team leadership, and frontline associates. Any special projects as assigned.

Responsibilities

Disciplined self-motivator in a small department, often working in a solo environment for large portions of shift, staying focused on assignments, projects, and duties.

Good communicator—partner with all operational departments and communicate with all levels of leadership and associates; contribute to teamwork and facilitate training sessions.

Floor presence—be visible and accessible for leadership and associates by walking the production floor and across all departments; conduct regular tours and make contact with each department.

Orientation of new hires—obtain list of new hires, meet and greet in the lobby, verify IDs, check attendance, perform I-9 for each new associate, conduct Orientation/Safety/Hazmat Training, and coordinate with OPS supervisors on assignments.

Administration—Microsoft Office Suite experience required; manage orientation rosters, arrange trainers per department, communicate with new hires and contingent partners, update calendars and rosters, verify IDs, record Hazmat and PIV licenses, schedule and track cross-training, develop trainers, and create/update SOPs with visual training aids; provide daily recaps to training leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

Exceptional attendance and performance record and the ability to maintain those standards.

Knowledge of PCs and software and the ability to quickly learn new systems.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships and interact constructively.

Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job and assist in all areas.

Knowledge of DC operations.

Salary and Benefits
Minimum Salary: $21.00 per hour. VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by factors including specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.
