With a collaborative team culture and strong leadership, they are positioned for continued growth and are adding a Project Manager to support an active project pipeline.
The Opportunity
This established GC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of a $15M–$20M commercial project from preconstruction through closeout. This is a hands‑on role reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Construction, with full accountability for schedule, budget, subcontractor management, and client relationships. The position is based in Charleston and requires full‑time, in‑office presence starting mid‑May 2025.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Lead all phases of project execution from buyout through closeout on a $15M–$20M commercial project
Manage project budget, cost reporting, and forecasting with a focus on protecting margin
Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating with field leadership to drive on‑time delivery
Oversee subcontractor selection, scope, and performance throughout the project lifecycle
Serve as the primary point of contact for the owner, architect, and project stakeholders
Collaborate with field Superintendents to align on daily operations and proactively resolve issues
Lead OAC meetings, prepare status reports, and maintain complete project documentation
What We're Looking For
7+ years of project management experience with a commercial general contractor
Proven track record managing projects of $5M or greater in value
Experience across multiple commercial project types — office, healthcare, education, retail, municipal, or similar
Proficiency with Procore, Viewpoint, and/or Bluebeam
Strong financial acumen — you understand job cost, change management, and how to protect margin
Clear communicator with owners, subcontractors, and internal teams
Based in or willing to relocate to the Charleston, SC area
Base Salary: $130,000 – $160,000 depending on experience + Bonus
Annual Bonus: 10% target bonus on base salary
