Job Overview
We are seeking a
Program Manager with deep Operational Risk expertise
to support a multi-year enterprise initiative within a large-scale risk transformation portfolio.
This role is ideal for someone who has
grown from an Operational Risk SME into program leadership —not a traditional project manager. You will be expected to quickly integrate into the environment, understand risk frameworks, and actively contribute to execution while managing program delivery.
This position supports senior leadership within Operational Risk and requires the ability to operate both
strategically and hands-on .
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate multiple workstreams within a broader
Operational Risk Management program
Drive execution of
RCSA, PRCI, monitoring & testing , and risk remediation initiatives
Translate business needs into
clear requirements for technology and risk teams
Identify and manage program risks, dependencies, and deliverables across functions
Partner with stakeholders across risk, compliance, audit, and business units to ensure alignment
Track and report program health, milestones, and performance metrics
Support governance activities including controls, policies, and procedures
Facilitate communication between leadership and execution teams
Contribute directly to deliverables when needed—not just oversight
Balance detailed execution work with enterprise-level program visibility
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in
Operational Risk, Program Management, or related field
Strong hands-on experience with:
PRCI (Process Risk & Control Identification)
Controls, governance frameworks, and policy/procedure development
Proven ability to manage
complex, multi-project programs
in regulated environments
Experience gathering and translating
business requirements for technical teams
Strong stakeholder management skills across multiple business functions
Ability to work in both
Waterfall and Agile/Scaled Agile environments
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-focused
Preferred Qualifications
Background in
banking or financial services (strongly preferred)
Experience in
insurance environments
or enterprise risk organizations
Familiarity with enterprise risk frameworks
Previous experience in similar environments is a plus
Technical Skills
Advanced
Microsoft Excel
(tracking, reporting, data analysis)
Experience with
Clarity / Broadcom
or similar PPM tools (nice to have)
Familiarity with GRC tools (e.g., Archer) is a plus
Strong working knowledge of
Microsoft Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint
