
Civil Design Technician

Overview
Kimley-Horn is looking for a CAD Operator to join our Development Services team in Orange, CA! This is not a remote position.
Responsibilities
Use basic computer drafting software to generate site plans and construction drawings for Kimley-Horn projects.
Design and produce sets of plans; implement and manage AutoCAD drafting and plan preparation standards.
Assist in maintaining drawing database.
Perform routine analysis to check accuracy of data.
Develop familiarity with Kimley-Horn’s practices, procedures, and standards.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred).
0 to 3 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley products preferred.
Detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self‑starter.
Strong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills, and desire to learn.
Ability to work independently and with a team.
Salary Range
$32 - $35/hour
