Overview
As a Supply Planner, you will manage supply planning for assigned brands across the network of operations for the North American region, ensuring on-time replenishment of stock to support the demand/sales forecast. As a conduit between the North American market and global production facilities, you will balance product availability with working capital targets.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the development and management of the Supply Plan/Replenishment for a group of designated brands.
Review supplier capacity, identify risk and advise caution where appropriate. Make recommendations to minimize supply interruptions. Ensure agreed upon modifications are implemented.
Review inventory and service levels vs targets for assigned portfolio. Develop corrective action plans where there’s misalignment.
In collaboration with the Supply Planning Manager, regularly assess and update safety stock policy and targets.
Assist in preparation of write off for obsolete/damaged materials and finished products.
Assist in defining, validating, and implementing sourcing changes for new products/customers.
Actively participate in product lifecycle management.
Contribute to Supply Chain improvement programs with Plants and Markets.
Pro-actively optimize planning-related master data.
Serves as the tactical point of contact/representative for supply plant.
Build relationships with OC's/Plants to better understand Manufacturing processes and capabilities.
Coordinate with Innovations team to set launch quantities of new products to ensure smooth transitions.
Identify improvement opportunities in the planning process.
Provide commentary on any variance between State reported vs Bacardi Inventory.
Ongoing systematic adjustments to reconcile inventories.
Participate in annual Physical Inventories.
Order Preparation, Freight Management.
Track, evaluate and report Inventory Levels and accuracy monthly.
Skills and Qualifications
Experience in International / Global company with a matrix organization
Supply Chain related degree preferred.
Minimum of 3+ years of field experience in Supply Chain
Fluency in English
Must have strong analytical skills.
Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
Proven time management and multiple task management capabilities
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) for communication across global and cross-functional teams. Must communicate “up” effectively at the Manager, Director level.
An ability to innovate and challenge the business in process and leadership development
Personal Qualities
Comfortable dealing with Primos across all level and functions of the business
Resolve conflicts directly.
Must listen for understanding.
