Jr. Systems Analyst
Designation:
Jr. Systems Analyst
Job Description:
Assess business objectives, procedures, and inefficiencies in the computer system and evaluate business software capabilities.
Analyze, design, and develop plans for system testing and maintenance.
Review existing systems and draft goals.
Develop specifications for tailoring software to determine feasibility, cost, and time requirements, compatibility with existing systems, and computer capabilities.
Communicate with staff and management to identify operating procedures and modify program objectives.
Evaluate user requirements for applications and confer with users eliciting feedback and experience with the software and hardware.
Oversee the repair of failing systems and software.
Create training regimes, plans, and outlines for users and modify as necessary.
Coordinate technical support, resolve issues, answer questions, and record outcomes.
Ensure the system and software are properly upgraded and performing optimally and make recommendations regarding allocation of resources and system modifications.
Keep abreast of current developments in the industry and methodologies.
Minimum Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in information technology management, computer science engineering, electrical and computer engineering, or computer science is required. An educational equivalency evaluation of the degree as prepared by an evaluation service is acceptable.
Work Schedule:
Mon-Fri; 40 hours/wk.
