In-House Registry Staff Nurse in PreOp PACU . Here you will be responsible for providing nursing care that is goal-directed and adapted to the needs of an individual, a family and/or community during health and illness. This department brings the world’s most innovative approaches to patients with all conditions, from common to complex. You will have the ability to work with physicians that are constantly pushing the bounds of possibility forward, conducting groundbreaking research and providing lifesaving, personalized patient care. This position is a 100% onsite opportunity. You will need to be based in the greater Chicagoland area.

In-House Registry Staff Nurse is a registered professional nurse (RN)
who manages patient centered care that is outcome directed. Patient centered care principles and professional nursing practice standards provide the foundation for the nurse to assess, plan, implement and evaluate the care provided. The staff nurse assumes the primary responsibility and accountability for all patient care personally provided and that provided by those directly under her/his supervision.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an NLN accredited School of Nursing.
Associate Degree in Nursing; BSN degree or higher preferred.
Associate Degree Nurses are required to enroll in a BSN program within six (6) to nine (9) months of hire, and make progress toward and complete their BSN degree within 30 months. ADN nurses receive 100% tuition reimbursement towards a BSN degree from an accredited program.
Active BLS certification

Shift : Rotating, minimum of 40 hours per 6 week schedule.

The pay range is based on a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) and is reflective of current market data, reviewed on an annual basis. Compensation offered at the time of hire will vary based on candidate qualifications and experience and organizational considerations, such as internal equity. Pay ranges for employees subject to Collective Bargaining Agreements are negotiated by the medical center and their respective union.
