How you’ll contribute
Perform various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
Review patient history and physician’s order.
Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure patient understanding and cooperation.
Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice as ordered.
Monitor patient condition and respond to changes as appropriate.
Prepare equipment and supplies, select exposure factors and imaging parameters, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Perform quality control checks on equipment; troubleshoot, resolve, and/or report malfunctions as necessary.
Position patient and perform imaging procedures.
Analyze results, identify quality issues, and take corrective action including repositioning or repeating procedures.
Enter, transmit, and report scan results accurately.
Provide direct support in meeting departmental service levels.
Participate in performance improvement and continuing education.
Provide quality patient care and work flexible shifts/unit as needed.

AART within 6 months.
BCLS within 90 days if hired.
