About the Role
Our Service Managers play a key leadership role in local Terminix branches, leading and motivating Pest Technician Teams to deliver outstanding service of Terminix products to customers.
Responsibilities
Each day the Service Manager ensures the pest tech team operates effectively, efficiently, and with high customer satisfaction. Specific duties include:
Monitoring branch scheduling and ensuring routes are completed
Ensuring regulatory compliance and safety standards are met or exceeded
Responding to customer concerns and resolving cancellation requests
Inspecting and evaluating technician performance
Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels of pest control products
Facilitating continual training of local sales and service teams
Qualifications
Associate’s degree (four‑year degree highly desirable)
Valid driver’s license from state of residence
1‑2 years of related experience helpful but not required
Willingness to relocate highly desirable
Ability to lead and motivate others
Strong communication skills—verbal, written, and presenting
Problem‑solving skills with practical solutions
Rapport building and trust establishment with customers and employees
Detail‑oriented and safety aware
Aptitude for basic/intermediate math necessary for calculations related to sales and service
Comfortable working outside and in confined spaces such as crawl spaces and attics
