Maintenance Technician
This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while ensuring a safe work environment and adherence to Tyson policies and procedures. Maintenance Technician positions keep machinery running to sustain continuous production.
Responsibilities
Repair and maintain operating conditions of machinery and equipment.
Troubleshoot operational problems in the facility.
Perform work involving hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity, general mechanics, and some welding.
Set up, adjust, and break down production line machinery.
Complete daily documentation as required.
Stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, pull, lift (up to 75 lbs), and reach as needed.
Work in hot, humid or cold, damp environments on hard floors 8–12 hours per day.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum one year of mechanical work experience, or graduate of an industrial maintenance training program.
Ability to become HAZMAT certified.
Willingness to work all shifts, including weekends, and available for overtime.
Effective communication skills with all employees and management.
Ability to read manuals to repair equipment safely.
Physical ability to perform job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation.

Pay Range / Rate
$24.70 per hour (base pay). Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonuses.
