We are seeking a Locum Interventional Cardiologist for ongoing coverage with flexible availability of 3 7 shifts per month. This is a hospital-based, inpatient-only role with no ambulatory clinic responsibilities.

Assignment Details

• Availability: 3 7 days per month (ongoing need)

• Practice Setting: Inpatient / EMTALA call coverage

• Patient Population: Adult

• EMR: Epic Cupid

• Group Size: 2 Interventional Cardiologists

• Coverage Model: Other Interventional Cardiologists will be present during locum coverage

• Licensure: IMLC accepted

Clinical Responsibilities

• Respond to all cardiology calls for the hospital

• General cardiology consults as needed

• Interpretation of diagnostic studies, including:

  • EKGs

  • Echocardiograms

  • Stress tests (including nuclear stress)

Required Interventional Procedures

• Balloon angioplasties

• Coronary angioplasty

• Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)

• Heart catheterizations

• Coronary angiograms

Additional Notes

• No outpatient or clinic work

• Inpatient-only coverage with strong procedural focus

• Ongoing monthly needs with scheduling flexibility
