Siemens is seeking a

hands‑on IT Site Support Specialist

to support daily operations at the

Heber Springs manufacturing facility , while also serving as the site’s

AI Champion . This role focuses on

plant‑floor IT support , manufacturing systems reliability, and practical application of

digital and AI‑enabled tools

that improve productivity and reduce downtime.

The ideal candidate brings

strong real‑world experience , is comfortable on the shop floor, and is motivated to help the site adopt modern digital and AI solutions.

Experience and capability are valued highly alongside formal education.

Key Responsibilities

Provide

day‑to‑day IT support

for manufacturing, warehouse, and office environments

Support

shop‑floor systems , including PCs, scanners, label printers, HMIs, and production‑related IT equipment

Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues end‑to‑end, with focus on

uptime, root cause, and prevention of repeat issues

Serve as the

primary on‑site IT contact

for operators, supervisors, engineers, and site leadership

Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware in compliance with Siemens security standards

Partner with

Manufacturing, Controls, Engineering, and Maintenance

teams to support OT/IT integration

Support manufacturing systems such as

ERP, MES, production reporting, and data collection tools

Track and manage IT assets and site‑specific equipment

Support plant changes, equipment installs, and system upgrades tied to manufacturing needs

AI Champion Responsibilities

Act as the

local AI and digitalization champion

for the Heber Springs site

Promote practical use of

AI‑enabled tools

(analytics, automation, reporting, copilots) that support manufacturing and warehouse operations

Identify opportunities where AI or digital tools can

reduce manual effort, improve reliability, or enhance decision‑making

Partner with corporate IT and business teams to

pilot and deploy approved AI solutions

at the site

Help educate and support users on

responsible, secure use of AI tools

aligned with Siemens standards

Basic Qualifications

3–5+ years of hands‑on IT support experience , preferably in a

manufacturing or industrial environment

Strong troubleshooting skills for

LAN‑based factory systems

Experience supporting end‑user devices and industrial peripherals (scanners, printers, terminals)

Willingness to be mobile and hands on (running cables, supporting equipment, troubleshooting in person)

Comfort working

directly on the non‑climatized shop floor

in a production environment

Strong problem ownership and follow‑through

Clear communication skills with both technical and non‑technical users

Preferred Qualifications

Associate’s degree (2‑year) in IT, Computer Science, or a related field

Experience with

Active Directory , ERP, or MES systems

Networking or infrastructure experience (Cisco knowledge a plus)

Experience with

data analytics, automation, or AI‑enabled tools

Participation in digital transformation, continuous improvement, or automation initiatives

The pay range for this position is $61,547 - $105,509 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
