Requirements & Qualifications
10+ years
of experience in the electrical construction industry
5+ years
in electrical preconstruction, estimating, or project management
Proven track record with Department of Defense and NAVFAC projects (vertical construction)
Strong background in design-build project delivery
Experience with conceptual estimating and managing full electrical scopes
Proficient with preconstruction tools such as Bluebeam, P6, Autodesk Construction Cloud, McCormick, or similar
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and satisfy DoD clearance requirements
Willingness to travel for project needs
Preferred Background & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience supporting large, complex government construction projects (over
$35M )
Familiarity with electrical, telecommunications, and data systems design
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Lead electrical preconstruction efforts for multiple projects and major government pursuits
Oversee electrical scope development, budgeting, design coordination, and scheduling
Partner with Estimating, Operations, and leadership to refine project strategy and ensure successful execution
Develop conceptual budgets and manage electrical and low-voltage/data system planning
Guide procurement strategies and long-lead equipment planning
Identify risks, drive value engineering, and lead constructability reviews
Mentor and develop preconstruction team members while implementing process improvements
Ensure full compliance with Department of Defense standards and project best practices
