OPPORTUNITY: COMMUNITY MANAGER - ANTIOCH, CA

DAYS/HOURS REQUIRED: Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM

Sares Regis Group is seeking an experienced Community Manager for a 216‑unit community, Sagecrest! This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career with a great company in a convenient location!

SUMMARY

Responsible for hiring, training and developing a competent team.

Manages daily operations directly or indirectly; reviews daily rent recommendations and identifies opportunities to maximize income.

Collects rents, implements timely legal delinquent rent procedures; assures resident insurance compliance; enforces screening criteria; implements resident retention procedures; completes weekly reports, approves invoices, and ensures accurate data input.

Reviews and analyzes monthly performance; completes variance reports; initiates annual budgets and forecasts.

Identifies potential market challenges; educates self, staff and regional manager about competitors; creates effective marketing plans.

Bids recurring contract work (unit cleaning, painting, landscaping) to assure quality and best price; confirms contractor insurance and lien waiver compliance; monitors contractor performance.

Assures OSHA and safety procedures are implemented; educates team on safety precautions; maintains up‑to‑date MSDS information.

In conjunction with the maintenance supervisor, identifies necessary repairs or capital projects; ensures curb‑appeal meets corporate standards; identifies risk‑management issues.

Reads, follows, and implements company handbooks, property policy manuals, and governing documents.

QUALIFICATIONS

Excellent problem‑solving, interpersonal, communication, and leadership/supervisory skills.

3+ years of experience as a Community Manager of 100+ units.

Excellent sales skills.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals; write reports and business correspondence.

Ability to compute figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area; basic math proficiency.

Ability to solve practical problems and handle variable situations with limited standardization.

Knowledge of operations software: Outlook, Internet software, Excel, Word.

Salary range is $95,000–$100,000 annually. We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a 401(K) match, rental incentive and renewal compensation, bonuses, and rental discounts depending on location. Regular full‑time employees working 30–40 hours a week are eligible for medical, dental, vision, other voluntary benefits and vacation accrual. Sick time accrual is provided in accordance with law.
